I outed myself to a good married lady-friend, who insisted on being informed on progresses on my personal life.

I said, "be prepared for what i am about to say,"
" .... i have a boyfriend now".
Her response, "are you kidding me?"
"No, i am not kidding you"
"Good for you."
then she was full of thrills, "my god, my dream is finally realized."
"what dream? " i am confused.
She said, "i always want to have a gay friend. like those girls in sex-and-the-city."
"did you know that i am gay?" i carefully asked.
"No,..."
faint, i thought.
"then i can ask you to go shopping with me, right?"
i laughed reluctantly, "well, i assume yes."
